More About Brett

“A name to remember” in the opinion of Bloomberg Marketing, “an inspiration to young business people today” says Blue Hyppo, and “a modest phenomenon” according to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Brett Klasko started his first company at the age of 14 while in middle school. The new venture, which started almost by accident, has since grown to post several consecutive profitable years, develop a client list containing the likes of TD Ameritrade, The Motley Fool, Forbes, and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and retain over 20 of the brightest minds in finance, sports, and the Internet as employees and contributors.

Brett’s business acumen and insightful perceptions at such a young age has drawn the interest of several national publications and media outlets. The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, CNN, Newsweek, The New York Post, Dow Jones, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and The Philadelphia Inquirer have all featured Brett as an expert commentator and interviewee. Brett speaks around the country on the issues of student entrepreneurship and financial literacy and has written articles for several major media organizations, such as About.com and Screaming Media.

A graduate of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, Brett has previously worked with The Philadelphia Eagles and Morgan Stanley in marketing roles. While in school, Brett served two terms as the President of the Goizueta Investment Club, the largest student-run organization at the time. Brett was named a USA Today Academic All-American and honored with inclusion in Who’s Who Among American High School Students.

Brett won first place in the State of New Jersey for two years in a row and finished in the top ten in the country for presenting his company’s original business plan to a panel of judges in a Marketing Education Clubs of America event. Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals recognized Brett’s achievements by including him in its prestigious directory for the past several years.

Brett’s interests outside the company include playing just about any sport (especially baseball and football), trading stocks (when time permits), rooting for Philadelphia sports teams, and reading. Brett donates his time and money to several community affairs and charities, including animal shelters, disaster relief efforts, and his alma mater.
